Acre invites guests on a culinary journey through some of the country's most celebrated food and wine regions, inspired by Alabama Crown's Hanna Brown's annual pilgrimage to Italy. What began as a shared appreciation for Italy's enduring culinary traditions evolved into a collaborative effort between Hanna, Jake Peoples, and Chef Alex Strickland to bring those experiences to the Auburn table.
More than a traditional wine dinner, this experience explores the stories behind the pairings. Throughout the evening, guests will travel from Milan to Parma, Veneto, Piedmont, and Tuscany, discovering how local ingredients, cultural traditions, and native wines have shaped the cuisines of each region. Drawing inspiration from firsthand travels throughout Italy, the menu offers a unique opportunity to experience these classic combinations through Acre's creative lens and signature hospitality.
